The affairs of the Institute are managed by two specialized committees:
- The Management Advisory Board (MAB), and
- The Executive Committee (EC)
MAB is chaired by Dr. MS Swaminathan, a renowned development expert and an agricultural scientist as well as Rajya Sabha member, while EC is headed by Ms. Sudha Tewari, President of Parivar Seva Sanstha and a management expert. The members of MAB and EC are from diverse fields and include amongst others:
- Prof. Rakesh Basant, IIM, Ahmedabad
- Prof. Ram Faujdar, Director, IIPS, Mumbai
- Prof. Amitabh Kundu, JNU, New Delhi
- Mr. Ram Lubhaya, IAS, Government of Rajasthan, Jaipur
- Dr. Deoki Nandan, Director, NIHFW, New Delhi
- Dr. Jay Satia, Executive Director, ICOMP, Kuala Lampur
- Dr. N.K.Sethi, Senior Advisor, Health, Planning Commission, New Delhi
